peeka-bu makes this intricate design so much easier. The first line goes straight down the front of your naval, about a quarter inch wide. Turn your trimmer or razor sideways and shave short, individual strokes about 1/4 inch thick. Repeat these short strokes as you move up toward your belly button. Once you are satisfied with your first ray of sunshine, start shaving your next lines from the center out towards eleven o'clock and one o'clock. Continue with the sun rays towards ten o'clock and two o'clock. Be sure to keep the lines the same width, as well as the areas between the lines. As you get further out, the lines will become more horizontal. If you're using a trimmer over a toilet, you can step into the shower and clean up the lines with a razor. Maintenance is simple. Re-shave the lines to smooth the rays. The beams will continue to shine.
